Lara’s Art

Lara’s work has a clean, bold graphic style with strong illustrative qualities. She blends a variety of materials and manufacturing techniques—such as water jet cutting, profile cutting, etching, and routing—to create pieces that are humorous, decorative, or historical. Each piece evokes a mood, enhancing any space as a distinctive focal point.

Lara leads all clients through each step—from initial designs to creating manufacturing files, fabrication, and installation—ensuring the project fully captures their vision.

Community Engagement
For all projects, Lara collaborates closely with local communities to foster a sense of ownership and identity. Drawing on her teaching experience, Lara guides and supports groups in discovering stories and ideas, using conversation, drawing, and modelling to explore meaningful themes that feeds into the final design.

Teaching & Mentoring
As designer-in-residence at East Barnet Secondary School, Lara guides a student design team in creating inspiring art across the school. She also teaches at Insight School of Art in Barnet, helping children and adults develop their skills in drawing and painting.
