Percy Road Park Artwork
Commissioned by Barnet Council and championed by an impassioned park community the installation of this artwork marked the final phase of the renovation of Percy Road Park in North Finchley, London, N12.
Clusters of artworks and text in high-density polyethylene signal the entrance to the park whilst animating the interior walls of this much loved open space.

“Working with Lara to put the finishing touches to our community-led pocket-park redevelopment was a complete joy. Lara worked with us to get to the essence of how we felt about Percy Road Park, designing bespoke artwork that mirrored the context of the park and its diverse and welcoming community. She was able to bring the different views of the community group, local children and Barnet Council together. She listened to feedback from lots of different sources and was easy to work with. Ultimately she was able to deliver a single unifying vision; the Urban Idyll. We love it!”
